How much does framing cost?

The price of a frame depends on many factors—such as size, frame, glass, etc. We can only calculate the price once we have all the necessary information. Customers are always informed of the price of their frame after the consultation.

Do you buy pictures?

No, since we already have a large selection of images, we no longer purchase images.

Do you repair pictures?

We can carry out minor repairs to oil or acrylic paintings, but this depends on the case.

Do you replace broken mounts?

Yes, we offer a wide range of mounts in different colours and thicknesses, which we can cut to the desired size.

Do you hang the pictures?

No, we do not offer wall hanging services. If you require installation services, please contact:

How long does framing take?

Framing takes an average of 2 to 3 weeks. For custom-made  pieces, please allow 4 to 6 weeks.

Do you take pictures on commission?

By arrangement, we temporarily take paintings on consignment and display them in our shop windows.

Do you repair frames?

We can perform minor repairs to frames. Whether a repair is possible can only be determined after inspecting the damage in person.

Can I come outside of opening hours?

Appointments outside of opening hours are available upon request. Please contact us by email or phone if you would like to schedule an appointment outside of opening hours.

Where can I park?

Two parking spaces are available for our customers. The parking spaces are located in front of our store on Gartenstrasse.

Do you sell pictures?

In our gallery, you'll find a diverse selection of paintings by Swiss and foreign artists, representing a variety of art styles.

Do you asses pictures?

Valuing images is not within our area of ​​expertise.

Do you replace broken glasses?

Yes, we offer a variety of high-quality glasses that we can cut to the desired size.

Do you have a delivery service?

Can you learn this profession?

Yes, the training to become a framer and gilder takes four years. More information can be found on the SVBR (Swiss Association of Picture and Framers) website:
